I really have not kept this up, but recently ran across an opportunity to follow another Poetry Blog, so here I am again.
Most of my poetry is "off line". The reasons are multitudinous, but to keep it simple, it is mostly because when you publish
something online, even in your own private blog, most publishing houses on and off line consider it already published.
That single somewhat limited way of thinking, makes your work ineligible for a lot of poetry contests and for publication in Poetry Journals, chapbooks, compendiums and other forms of media that most authors, including myself, want to leave open to themselves.
After having thought about it for a while, I have decided that I occasionally post a write here. Mostly things that are already published or that I have gotten back rejection slips on so many times that I need to re-think it!
Maybe someone who happens across this place might give me some new inspiration that will create a masterpiece.
